Clinic Details;
About the Office:
In 1994 I arranged a space in a new office bldg. while under construction, it is on the nw corner of Danville and Yonge St. Toronto. I designed my own office space, it is on the ground fl. There are glass walls and doors to the waiting room where there are two wing back chairs and a glass partition for the Office Mgr's office with two filing cabinets. My personal office space is 20 X 10 ft with a large desk,credenza, chesterfield and leather arm chairs. There are two large windows and 20 ft. shoji screens that are easily opened and closed of which I had designed personally. I also have special lighting. There is a two piece bathroom, counter and built in fridge at one end of the office. Total sq. ft. is 1100 and designed for comfort.

About the Clients:
The clients range in age from 20-60 yrs. All english speaking, middle/upper class intelligent people. I work Mon-Fri 9:45am-5:45pm with half hour for lunch. I take Thurs. am off and do between 43-46 46 min. psychotherapy hrs per wk. unless emergencies. Most patients visit every four wks. I do cognitive behavioral therapy along with pharmacotherapy as indicated. I keep excellent records and my clients do progress. Total Gross income for the yr. ending Jan 31, 2007 was $284,075.00 There has been a significant fee increase since that time and neg. are in place for a further increase.

Office Mgr.
The practice started on July 01,1968, we have always had a secretary, office manager who also does the bookkeeping. This individual has been with us for 27 yrs. and manages clients extremely well. She is available from 10:30-3:15pm daily. At other times the tel is shut off in the office and the tel in my personal office never rings. This allows me to focus entirely on my psychotherapy. Theres are of course no weekend or night calls. The office manager is a youthful individual with 27 years of effectively scheduling my patients so I never have an empty hour. When I leave the practice it would be an added advantage to keep this individual in place for a period of time due to her expertise and knowledge of the patients as well as her management skills in the office.

Owner
I graduated from U of T in 1955 and did a junior internship in Vancouver. I returned to ON to do a one year group practice, then went to Europe for two years. I returned to Gen Practice until I entered the Psych program in the U of T in 1964. In 1968 I obtained both my CRCPC and FRCPC, my income doubled on that date. We moved into a spacious condo overlooking the water at Harbour Sqr. It takes 20 minutes to get to the office, with a subway at hand that goes door to door. The office building has underground prkg. and the clients have access to the subway. I am a healthy individual.

This should give you an overview of my practice. I am prepared to leave the office as is with all the furnishings except the computer as well as a few personal items. I am looking forward to a smooth and successful transition of my practice, and would like to find an eager, friendly, compassionate and knowledgeable Psychiatrist to take over.
